MASSACHUSETTS FOURTH DISTRICT — June 15, 2026 — Democratic congressional candidate Jason Poulos today invited Rep. Jake Auchincloss to a series of three public debates across the Fourth District ahead of the September 1 Democratic primary. In a letter delivered to the Auchincloss campaign, Poulos proposed three evenings spaced across the district — north (Newton Free Library), center (Attleboro), and the South Coast (Fall River) — so voters in every part of the district can see the two candidates side by side. The Newton event, on July 13, is already confirmed on the campaign’s calendar; the Attleboro and Fall River dates are proposed, and the campaign said it is prepared to work with a neutral moderator such as the League of Women Voters.
“A primary belongs to the voters,” Poulos said. “For the first time in six years, the Fourth District has a real choice — on Medicare for All, on getting corporate and PAC money out of our politics, on ending the blank checks for foreign wars, and on warrantless mass surveillance. Voters deserve to weigh that choice in person, in their own communities, before they cast their ballots.” The full text of the letter is posted at poulos.house/debate.
